| Info | Joni Blalock was elected in August 2004 and is currently serving in her fifth term on the City Council. In addition to serving on the Council she is a board member for the Gulf Coast Health Care Authority and the Orange Beach Public Library. She is also a trustee for the Islands of Perdido Foundation. She spent the first 20 years of her professional life working in various social work, mental health, and counseling positions after receiving her Bachelor's and Master's Degree from The University of Alabama. In addition to serving on the Orange Beach Council, Ms. Blalock is the Group Sales Manager with Perdido Beach Resort. Joni is the proud parent of Britney, Lindsay and Bernard and has two grandsons.
