| Info | Born at St. Boniface Hospital in 1985, I have had the fortune to call various areas of the city and East Selkirk home. In 2021, I made the GlenElm neighborhood my home, due to the strong sense of community and beauty of the area.
In 2014 I was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease and End Stage Renal Failure, and have had extensive experience dealing with Manitoba's failing healthcare system. I believe that all Manitobans deserve access to efficient and superior healthcare. I also advocate for other Kidney Disease patients, volunteering with the Kidney Foundation of Canada Manitoba Branch.
I attended the University of Winnipeg, attaining a B.A. majoring in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement. This has led to a career as a Corrections Officer for the past 11 years, serving to make Manitoba a safer place to live along with my fellow Officers. A Union Shop Steward 8 of those years, I have had the pleasure of helping to make the workplace safer and equitable.
