| Info | Commissioner John Robinson grew up in Morton, Minnesota. He graduated from Morton High School and Willmar Vo-Tech and now lives in rural Franklin. Robinson and his wife, Sheila, have two daughters, and three grandchildren (with number four due in March of 2023). He farms in Birch Cooley township and raises cattle. His children were active in 4-H; showing cattle for many years. Robinson began representing District 2 as a Renville County Commissioner in January of 2023. Prior to becoming a commissioner, he worked at Schult Homes for 35 years. Being the youngest of 10 children, Robinson knows what it's like to work together and compromise. He will work to be fair on issues that arise for Renville County residents and employees.
