Info | Sandra Lee Wirth, (R-C) is from the 142nd Assembly District, which includes the Town and City of Lockport, and the Town of Royalton in Niagara County, the Erie County Towns of Elma, Alden, Aurora, Akron, Clarence, Marilla, Newstead, Wales and the Village of East Aurora. Previously, Sandra Lee represented the 148th Assembly District that included the Towns of West Seneca, Elma, Clarence and Lancaster, along with a portion of the City of Buffalo, which was eliminated due to re-districting. She also served as an Erie County Legislator in 1991 and in 1993.
Sandra Lee is well known as a "Citizen Legislator" because of her sponsorship and support of numerous government reform measures and her belief that elected officials are, first and foremost, public servants.
The Assemblywoman has extensive business experience, as she is the Broker/Owner of Metro Sandra Lee Wirth, Realtor. She is a member of the Greater Buffalo Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the New York State Association of Realtors, the West Seneca and Clarence Chambers of Commerce, and the Elma Business Association.
Ms. Wirth has been the recipient of numerous professional honors including President of the Greater Buffalo Association of Realtors; Realtor of the Year; Elma Business Person of the Year; Who's Who in Women Executives; Who's Who in United States Executives, and Vigilant Fire Company Citizen of the Year Award.
The Assemblywoman is also active in her community as Chairman and Past President of the Drug Abuse Prevention Council. She is also a sponsor of the Call Home Free program and the National Crime Prevention Council's National Night Out.
Mrs. Wirth has been appointed to serve as the ranking Minority member on the Real Property Taxation Committee and is a member of the Assembly Rules Committee; Codes Committee; Insurance Committee; and Aging Committee. Sandra Lee has also been appointed to the Administrative Regulations Review Commission and the Legislative Commission on Skills Development & Vocational Education.
Sandra Lee is married, has one married son, and one grandson.
