Ron Chhinzer is a member of the Peel Regional Police Service serving in Mississauga. With over 20 years of law enforcement experience, Ron is a national gang prevention expert and was a founding member of the Toronto Police Service’s Integrated Gang Prevention Task Force, designing and implementing one of the world’s largest gang exit strategies.
Ron has also overseen the deployment of government grants aimed at reducing gun and gang violence, sexual assault and harassment, and human trafficking. Ron is a public speaker on the topics of leadership development, impactful policing, and crime prevention through economic development.
With more than 20 years of volunteer service, Ron coaches a variety of youth sports, has chaired neighbourhood committees, and serves as a Director on Boards that focus on community improvement.
Ron and his wife of 15 years are the proud parents of two children.
