Joy’s sixth term in the House of Representatives; he served in the 116th through the 119th Legislatures, and after a break returned for the 121st Legislature. He is a member of the Natural Resources Committee.

Rep. Joy is a retired educator, having received his Masters Degree from the University of Maine/Orono. He served five years in the United States Air Force. He is currently a member of the Maine Association of Retirees, the Oakfield American Legion, and the Island Falls Fish & Game organization.

Rep. Joy and his wife, Mary, have four children, 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. If he has any time for hobbies they are golf, gardening and photography.
