Info | Christine Lewis-Napolitano is an ambitious resident of the Niagara region, diligently volunteering in the region. Graduating from Mohawk College’s Urban and Regional Planning Technician program, she founded the Seniors Aid and Adult Aid Societies of Canada. These non-profit organizations provide seniors and adults additional assistance where government assistance ends, including those faced with serious illness and homelessness. The lack of funding for autism and resources for the homeless is detrimental to the region and province. Christine’s genuine concern for social and wellness development in Niagara also extends to the Fort Erie hospital; having been threatened with closure, after being downgraded to an urgent care centre. The resultant outsourcing and job loss, in turn, reduced growth in the region. With an aging population, it is crucial that quality healthcare is available close to home. Christine will tackle these tough issues to help increase the quality of life for residents so that once again our region can thrive. Growing up on a farm in Beaverton, Ontario, Christine moved to Hamilton before finding her true home here in Niagara. She has a respectful understanding of both rural and urban needs, and her compassion and charity have transformed our communities. Passion for protecting our rights and freedoms, together with her drive to help residents restore their dignity and identity, are driving forces behind her desire to represent Niagara Falls at Queen’s Park.
