I became politically active because the incumbent in District 36, Ted Lieu, has demonstrated his support for HAMAS time and time again throughout his political career. That man does not represent me.
I will always vote to support Israel in her fight against Jew hating Islamists. Around the world, HAMAS supporters often expose their true agenda, shouting “Khaybar Khaybar,” a chant invoking the massacre of a Jewish village.

The incumbent gives lip service to supporting Israel, but his actions speak louder. I will always stand unequivocally with Israel.

While in the California Senate, Lieu supported HAMAS’ desire to punish Lowe’s Hardware over its advertising choice.
In 2019, in response to multiple antisemitic Tweets by Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, Jewish Members of the House of Representatives attempted to pass a resolution condemning antisemitism. Omar is a prominent member of CAIR and was the headliner for a 2019 CAIR-LA event. Ted Lieu chose to help convert the resolution condemning antisemitism into a resolution condemning Islamophobia, as well.
