| Info | I come from San Felipe Pueblo where I grew up, raised by my parents, and surrounded by grandparents, aunts, and uncles. My father began his working career as a machinist and welder and in his 40’s graduated with a master’s degree in counseling psychology. My mother was trained and worked as a practical nurse. When they began a family, she became a homemaker – and through our childhood, a surrogate mom to our cousins and friends.
My husband, Joseph Little, is an attorney and former judge. We have been married over 28 years and have a blended family with three grown children and grandchildren.
My family believes deeply in service. My dad and one brother served in the United States Army, another brother served in the United States Air Force and is a career police officer. Sadly, we lost one brother to a drunk driver over a decade ago.
For fifteen years, I have owned my own small business; served as a Tribal Administrator; and worked as an Administrative Officer for the United States Department of Health and Human Services. I have served New Mexicans through my work as Vice-Chair of New Mexico Voices for Children, President of Emerge New Mexico, and Chair of the San Felipe Pueblo Health Board.
These experiences have shaped who I am, and I want to bring these experiences to represent you in the State House of Representatives.
