| Info | Andrea Rowley Reeb grew up in Clovis and graduated from Clovis High School in 1989. She received both her BA and JD from Creighton University.
Andrea has worked for the 9th Judicial District Attorney for over 25 years. After starting out as Assistant DA, she has served as a Senior Trial Prosecutor, and has also run the satellite office in Roosevelt County. After serving as Chief Deputy in Clovis, she was appointed District Attorney in 2014 and was subsequently elected to the office three times.
During her career as a prosecutor, Andrea tried approximately 300 cases to a jury with a 97 Percent conviction rate. She has handled and tried over 30 homicide cases.
But Andrea’s “specialty” was the task of prosecuting crimes against children, which is very rewarding but emotionally very difficult. Additionally, she prosecuted many prominent figures as conflict cases. Most recently she convicted the Rio Arriba Sheriff, James Lujan, of corruption.
Andrea currently works as an adjunct professor for Clovis Community College where she has taught criminal law classes for 3 years.
Since 2014, she has been attending the legislative session to lobby for stronger legislation for crime prevention, testify as an expert for criminal legislation for the Republican Party, analyzing bills, and assisting legislators in the language of those bills.
Andrea knows the needs of this community and has the experience and preparation necessary to be an effective servant leader in the legislature.
Andrea has been married to David Reeb for 27 years. They have 3 children, Olivia (22), Katie (19), and David III (17).
