| Info | Cait Corrigan is a 10th generation American. She is a direct descendent of John Webster, who served as Governor of the Connecticut Colony in 1656. Cait’s grandparents, Governor John Webster and Agnes Smith, along with their five children fled Cossington, England in 1632 to escape religious persecution. They arrived and settled in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. After living in the Massachusetts Bay Colony for six years, Cait’s ancestors settled in Hartford, Connecticut. John Webster was one of nineteen men who helped to write The Fundamental Orders of Connecticut. The Fundamental Orders of Connecticut is widely recognized as one of the first documents explaining the earliest forms of a constitutional government. In 1655, John Webster was elected to serve as Deputy Governor of the Connecticut Colony. In the following year, he was elected Governor and served for two years.
Cait comes from a large family of military service members, many who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom in the American Revolution and Civil War. More recently, her family served in the Navy, Army, and Air Force.
Cait Corrigan was homeschooled on Long Island, NY. From a young age, Cait has always advocated for those in her community. At seven-years old, she organized her first Coat Drive for Long Island. At ten-years-old, she donated 11-inches of her hair to Locks of Love to help children with Cancer. Cait received the Dean’s Scholarship to attend Earlham College in Indiana and majored in Human Rights Studies. In college, Cait studied abroad in both Taiwan and India, where she learned about the implications of Chinese Communism. In 2017, she was one of ten students selected from a 400+ applicant pool to participate in the Oxbridge Future Leaders Program 2017 at Oxford University, England where she studied International Law and Diplomacy. In 2018, Cait was elected as a Founding Board Member to the International Political Science Association Research Committee on Citizenship & Migration.
On completion of her Bachelors degree, Cait Corrigan received a full-tuition scholarship to attend Earlham School of Religion for a Master’s in Peace & Social Transformation. Cait Corrigan changed her college's policy for requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend the graduation of her Master's degree in April 2021. Since then, Cait Corrigan has been at the forefront of the Medical Freedom Movement. She has helped over 5,000 Americans file successful religious exemptions in 48 states across the country.
Currently serving as the Co-Chair to the Spiritual Advisory Committee for Children’s Health Defense, Cait Corrigan has been organizing with leaders of faith throughout the country to stand together for medical and religious freedom. Cait also serves on the Board to The Religious Society for a Separation of Church & State. Cait will be Ordained as a Christian Pastor on January 9th, 2022.
