He is also deeply committed to sustainable development, green economics, peace, equal access to legal processes, education for all, preventive health care, and gender equality, among other things.

Otto has studied economics, computer science, general arts & science, and graphic arts. He found his passion at a later stage in life – Politics and Policy development. He is currently working towards a degree in political science.

Otto founded his family run business in 1995 and is currently manager of the international trade department for a respected Canadian manufacturing firm. He is a founding member of the Toronto Hispanic Chamber of commerce and acted as president for one year. He is also a board member of the Mississauga Traffic Safety Council. He lives with his wife Carla and daughter Raquel in Mississauga, Ontario.
