| Info | I want to use my 15 years’ experience in the local oil and gas industry to ensure that our area’s workforce is central to the green technology of the future, and to ensure that any oil and gas the UK does need in the decades to come supports jobs here in Scotland.
I believe that our area deserves an MP that will focus on local priorities again. Malcolm Bruce, the former Lib Dem MP for Gordon was re-elected 6 times in a row because he did just that. Since Malcolm retired, none of the SNP and Conservative MPs in Gordon have been re-elected because they focus on their party’s priorities.
North and south of the border, the NHS has been driven to its knees by 14 years of SNP and Conservative governments. Our NHS needs change. Here in Gordon and Buchan, only the Liberal Democrats can beat both the SNP and Conservatives – we won the former Gordon constituency in 4 of the last 7 general elections and have a councillor in every area of the constituency.
