Info | Gérald Nicolas has lived in the riding of Gatineau for the past 5 years with his wife, Madina, a federal public servant, and their two children aged 3 and 5 years old. Gérald has completed his university studies in Paris, France.
Before becoming the conservative candidate in Gatineau, Gérald worked in the federal public service. He is also the owner, for the past two years, of a small para-transit business, Taxi Nicolas. His para-transit service was established 30 years ago and serves the City of Gatineau, Cantley and Chelsea, creating about 15 positions.
Gérald has a vast experience with international humanitarian organizations. In the past ten years, he has most notably worked with the International Organization for Migration and the United Nations Mission in Haiti, respectively as a spokesperson and an information and liaison officer.
Gérald is presently the president of Dyslexie Québec, a charitable organization which helps people with that disease. He has also been the public relations director for the Canadian Dyslexia Association. Furthermore, he participates in Centraide Outaouais and the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
