| Info | Born and raised in a small farming community, I completed my secondary, post secondary, and graduate studies with a B.A. in Music Education and European History and M.A. in Music Education from whence I went on to teach elementary, secondary, and some undergraduate courses for ten years. I decided to return to farming as a vocation in pursuit of a "back to the land" lifestyle and began an organic farming operation in 1976. As marketing our own production was essential, I initiated a produce distribution company known as Northern Light Produce Network which supplied produce to Edmonton and surrounding area supermarkets. I sold this business in 2003 to enable me to become more involced in socio-econoic and political endeavors.
