Born 1925 in London England.
Early childhood in Iran and the depression years in U.K.
Graduated with an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Imperial College in 1947. Worked in U.K. and the Middle East and then traveled the world looking for the best place to live. Emigrated to Canada in 1957 because Canada showed outstanding promise.
As a P.Eng and specialist in Project Management worked on heavy civil projects across Canada, South America and the Far East.
Upon retirement in 1987 became increasingly aware that all the harbours, dams, industrial and infrastructure projects completed in Third World countries had come at heavy cost to them because of rapacious loan conditions imposed by the World Banks.
Similar conditions of deregulation and privatisation are being imposed on Canada by the corporate ideology of unfettered capitalism initiated in 1974 as a substitute for democratic government.
