Educated in his elementary years at the Whitewood Elementary School in Buchanan County then transferring to the Private Richlands Christian Academy school in Tazewell county where he graduated Salutatorian. Attended classes at Southwest Va Community College in the Construction Field. Is currently licensed as a Class A Contractor in Va, West Va & TN. Started his first Real Estate and Construction business in 1998. An entrepreneur at heart, Travis has successfully started several businesses which he continues to operate including, Construction, Real Estate Holdings in 3 States both Residential and Commercial, Compounding & Infusion Pharmacy, Custom Wood & Cabinetry Manufacturing, Interior Flooring and Design Center, Auto Sales locations in 2 states, , and Investment groups.
Travis Hackworth married his lovely wife Angel in 1993 and together have 4 children, 5 granddaughters and expect more to come!
He has been active in his church since his teen years, teaching Sunday School classes, ministering, playing music and directing youth programs for years.
Travis is an avid reader, loves to cook, design new construction projects, share his experiences both good and bad with young entrepreneurs, work on his “hobby farm”, and traveling with his wife seeing new places and cultures. His most relaxing and enjoyable moments are at the dinner table with all his family present on Sunday which has become a weekly tradition.
