Info | My recent experience with the Kucinich campaign has convinced me that my life is entering a new and more public phase. As someone who believes in a progressive message of peace and prosperity through justice, it's apparent that I now have to "Put my money where my mouth is!"
During current national election season, worked on the Kucinich campaign in Arizona and New Hampshire.
Participated in the "NO ON 110" anti-choice amendment to the Arizona Constitution on the ballot in November, 1992, helping to successfully defeat the anti-choice amendment.
In 1986 and 1988 participated as an advisor on two Congressional campaigns which were each run for less than $5,000. (In the 1988 campaign succeeded in polling 33% of the vote in the general election.)
Worked on the senatorial race for Democrat Richard Kimball against John McCain.
Civic/Volunteer Experience
Meals on Wheels - Seven (7) years - "Through "Meals on Wheels" I became aware of the impact our social fabric has on our society and the necessity to provide our citizens with adequate support."
Literacy Volunteers of Tucson - Two (2) years - Jeff volunteered with "Literacy Volunteers of Tucson" to assist people with learning disabilities in learning to read. "Through volunteering with "Pro-Literacy", I discovered how pervasive illiteracy is in this country and how important it is to fund quality public education. By tearing down our public education system, we are destroying and undermining the very foundation of our society and this great nation."
Jeff is an experienced political debater and public speaker....."I never back away from a debate on the issues and I welcome every opportunity to exchange views. To really understand what a candidate is bringing to the table we must discuss and debate the issues in-depth."
