InfoJeremy is widely known in the Conservative Party as one of the most committed, talented, and accomplished young men in the Party.

Jeremy first joined the Reform Party in 1996 and has been active in politics ever since. He has served in numerous positions in Reform, the Canadian Alliance, and now the Conservative Party of Canada. From the local level as a riding official to the national level as a staffer in the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, and later a National Councillor in the Canadian Alliance, Jeremy has considerable political experience.

As a National Councillor Jeremy fully backed and played a significant role in implementing the merger agreement between the Progressive Conservative Party and the Canadian Alliance. Jeremy is a strong backer of Conservative Party Leader Stephen Harper, having played a senior role in his 2002 campaign for the leadership of the Canadian Alliance and also serving as a member of Stephen's campaign team in the recent Conservative Party leadership race.

Jeremy further has the distinction of being the first ever nominated candidate of the Conservative Party of Canada.

Jeremy recently graduated from law school and has previously worked as a communications consultant, has worked in the forestry industry in northern Saskatchewan and has served in the Canadian Armed Forces with a reserve infantry unit.

Jeremy holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Alberta in Political Science and Canadian History in addition to his LLB from the University of Saskatchewan.

Jeremy was raised in the Churchill River riding, growing up in the community of Meadow Lake where he still resides.
