Info | Hello, my name is Sheralee Taylor. I am the Territory Labor candidate for Namatjira.
I am proud to have been born and raised in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, where I have also grown up my kids.
I have worked in both the non-government and Government sectors, with over 15 years' experience working in the health space.
I have been involved in community sports – including working on the CAAMA sports team, commentating local AFL games, and in 2019 I proudly became the first female premiership coach in the CAWFL.
I believe that all Territorians deserve the same opportunities –whether you live in the bush or in town.
I also believe that for strong, healthy, happy communities to thrive, we must all work together to address crime, to build strong families, and to get kids to school and people into work.
Families need to feel safe, wherever they live, with access to housing, schools, and health care.
If people have access to these things, we see less crime in our communities.
I will work hard for – and with - the people of Namatjira, and the Northern Territory.
Let’s do this together.
