Leadership Principles & Purpose: The guiding principle behind my words and deeds is simple: The Golden Rule; or, as President John F. Kennedy paraphrased it, "The rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened." We must serve all of the people of El Paso County. I pledge to govern with unselfed aspirations for sustainable excellence and respectful inclusion for all community members of this beautiful place we call home. An El Paso County Commissioner administers the laws of the State of Colorado. This must be done with wisdom born of multifaceted experience and the courage to advocate for creative solutions or stand against outmoded accepted norms. I have successfully done this before. Let me do it again for you as El Paso County Commissioner for District 2.
