| Info | Liz is a born and raised Milwaukeean. She spent her first years in the Sherman Park neighborhood before moving to Shorewood, where she attended Shorewood public schools and graduated from Shorewood High School.
Liz went on to graduate from Marquette University with a BA in Political Science and French. After three years in Seattle and eight years in Chicago, where she obtained an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago with concentrations in Strategy and Finance, Liz returned to Milwaukee in 2007 to be closer to family and to open her own business.
Liz and her husband, Nathaniel, married in 2010 and purchased their home in Fox Point a few years later. Together they are raising their two young children, who both attend Stormonth school. The Sumners are active members of Congregation Shalom in Fox Point.
