Frank worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the last three Utah Attorneys General over the last 12 years. He began in the Civil Enforcement Division, then the Human Services Division, Litigation Division, Child & Family Services Division, and finally in the Health Section. He is a former Director of Legal Affairs for the Department of Corrections.
Frank has prosecuted felony welfare fraud, defended school teachers and school districts, represented the Departments of Health, Corrections, Alcoholic Beverage Control, Human Services, Agriculture, Wildlife, and Board of Pardons. He has litigated anti-pornography cases, domestic violence, parental terminations, adoptions, and criminal justice issues.
Frank Mylar is a national and local corrections litigation consultant and adjunct professor of Corrections Law, University of Utah.
