“I’ve spoken to thousands of people across North Norfolk over the past few months, and what has become clear is that they are fed up with the contempt that the Conservative government and our Conservative MP have treated them with.
“I’m delighted that we will have the opportunity to put forward the positive Liberal Democrat vision for the country. We will guarantee people the right to see their GP, and end the 8am rush.
“We’re going to ensure people receive timely treatment for cancer, and ensure investment in research to bring about new tests and treatments for some of the toughest cancers.
“We’re going to recruit more dentists, fix the NHS dentistry crisis and stop North Norfolk being a dental desert.
“North Norfolk deserves an MP with the courage of their convictions, who will speak up for them and vote in their interests, not simply follow the party line. We need a strong voice to bring about a new kind of politics.
“I’m excited to spend the next 6 weeks speaking to people across our area and hearing from them how we can bring about the real change we desperately need. It’s time for a fair deal for North Norfolk, and that comes by voting for the Liberal Democrats.”
