InfoAssistant Professor Steven Menashi is currently on leave from the law school. He teaches courses in administrative law and civil procedure, and he has written in the fields of constitutional law, administrative law, international law, and property. He previously served as a research fellow at New York University School of Law and Georgetown University Law Center and as a litigation partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He was a law clerk to Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. of the Supreme Court of the United States and to Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Professor Menashi received his law degree from Stanford Law School, where he was elected to Order of the Coif; served as senior articles editor of the Stanford Law Review and managing editor of the Stanford Law & Policy Review; and won the Kirkwood Moot Court Competition, the Carl Mason Franklin Award in International Law, and the Steven M. Block Civil Liberties Award. He was a David and Lucille Packard Fellow at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, and received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
