| Info | Born in Elko, Nevada on October 10, 1890, Morley Griswold was the third Nevada-born governor. He began his law practice in Elko in 1915 after being admitted to the Nevada Bar. He was elected to two terms as lieutenant governor and became Acting-Governor March 21, 1934. He lost the election later that year and did not run for public office again. He practiced law in Reno until his death October 3, 1951.
