Prime Minister of Tonga
Ulukalala was appointed Prime Minister for life in February of 2000 by King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV. He was born on July 12, 1959. In 1981, he was Cadet Officer of the Tonga Defence Services within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Defence. From 1991 to 1995, he was Commanding Officer of the Navy of Tonga. In 1999, he was Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence.
