John Rice has served the real estate community for over 29 years, with experience in listing, sales, property management, development, construction, finance, and lecturing. A 1977 graduate of the Hall Institute of Real Estate in Hanover, Massachusetts John is a native of Lee County and attended Opelika and Auburn public schools and Auburn University. In 1982, John was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives, again in 1983 in a special election, and in 1986 to the Alabama Senate. John has also been an instructor with the American Real Estate Institute for 24 years. John is the proud father of five boys, Brandon an Opelika Attorney, Blake an AU Civil Engineering Graduate, Rylen Crews (stepson) an AU pre-pharmacy student, John Will age 10 and Jonah age 7
