Born and raised in Eastwood. Registered Nurse with a doctoral degree in Education Administration from Syracuse University.
Career involved experience as an educator and nurse leader in local hospitals. Also taught Nursing at Morrisville, SUNY Upstate Medical , Syracuse University and presently adjunct professor at Keuka College. Appointed to the State Education Department Nurse Board. Involved in policy development and practice monitoring of licensed professionals within New York State. Active with the New York State Nurses’ Association focusing on legislative and education issues.
Locally, involved in several volunteer activities including as an RN at the North Side Ministries Porvello Clinic, also at Blessed Sacrament Parish and serves as the chair of the 5th ward Democrat Committee.
Presently a member of ENA (Eastwood Neighborhood Association), TNT, WIN (Women’s Initiative Now) and CNY NOW (National Organization of Women) , Syracuse Women’s Commission. Actively involved in supporting and promoting all women’s issues.
