InfoEric is proud to have been born and raised in Colorado. He is running for the Colorado State House, District 31, as an independent to shake things up and make sure the people of Adams County get its fair share at the State Capitol.

His career and life experience has taught him how to actively listen, organize and guide people. He has taken these skills to the Thornton City Council. He was appointed to the Ward 2 vacancy on January 15, 2013 and then elected in November 2015. During his time on City Council, he has served on several external boards and committees representing Thornton. Additionally, he has served as Chairman of the Adams County Housing Authority (ACHA) , Vice Chair of the North Area Transportation Alliance (NATA), Board Alternate for the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), Member of the Denver Metro Funeral Directors Association (DMFDA), Board Member of Hispanic Elected Local Officials (HELO) and a member of the Advisory Council for Race Equity and Leadership (REAL).

House District 31 has a great divide between working and middle-class families. Eric is running to give people a shot at success, ensure they have quality schools and the best teachers, and to foster small business growth and bring good paying jobs to the people of Adams County. Eric has learned that our local government works best when more people are involved and able to have their voice heard. That’s why he is running as a common-sense independent. As an Independent, he is free to vote for his district and serve his constituents, not the party bosses or special interests. He hopes to earn your support in November and work together to get things done for Adams County.
