Family Story
As a first generation immigrant, I am thankful to be a citizen of the greatest country in the world. My parents and my six brothers and sisters came to the United States in 1969 and despite living the majority of our early lives in poverty, our entire family is an American success story. Five of seven children received college degrees and today all seven children have successful careers and are living a life that is only possible in America!
Hard work, obstacles and success
As the youngest sibling of my family, I have spent most of my childhood working in our family business where we struggled to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. Despite these tough times, I was willing to take any and all jobs to earn extra money, while still working at our family's struggling family restaurant. Despite having to start work at the age of ten and missing time at school, I always kept a desire to chase the opportunities that America offers and I eventually graduated from Fort Lewis College with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business. After college I learned the difficult lesson that success is not a guarantee, but has to be earned where results are only determined by hard work and sacrifice. Despite having financial setbacks due to untimely failed businesses after college, I never stopped believing and continued my desire to have a better life. As a result, I learned to overcome many obstacles and was able to climb the corporate ladder to senior executive roles in the business world. I am proud that from my hard work and experiences, I have been able to achieve positions as National Sales and Marketing Director, Senior Manager and Independent Consultant to some of the largest companies in the world such as Wyndham Worldwide and HSBC Bank. Through my experiences, I continue to work with individuals, small businesses and corporations to achieve great success and strong financial results.
