As wrong as J6 was, I don't think that alone would initiate a full-scale nation-wide civil war. Also, Trump alone doesn't equal the whole GOP. A huge part of it, sure, but there are still Republicans who have a mind of their own and don't just go on everything Trump says. (see: Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger as two examples)
Your examples of proof that the GOP and Trump are not the same is two people who are not even elected officials anymore?

Ok then, another example who is an elected official is Kentucky Senator Rand Paul. I'm not a fan of his but at least he has a mind of his own. Paul still to this day hasn't endorsed Trump. And afaik I don't hear him calling for civil war.
