Info | George M. Castellini was elected to the Cumberland County Freeholder Board, taking office Jan 2, 2018. He graduated from Vineland High School and several years later attended Cumberland County College concentrating on business administration. A Graduate of the Camden County Police Academy, he served 13 years in law enforcement between the Vineland Police Department and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department, along with serving five years as a volunteer for the Vineland Rescue Squad. He was recruited by Wheaton Industries, and during his 11 years served as risk manager, alarm company manager, director of security and director of facility services.
Currently Castellini is CEO and Vice President of Biondi Insurance Agency where he has been employed for over 20 years, as well as being the owner of a local alarm company since 1978. Castellini is a Licensed NJ Private Detective, Licensed Insurance Producer, Licensed NJ Burglar & Fire Alarm Contractor, Certified Fire Inspector, former ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP). He is a member of the North Italy Club, Vineland Recreation Club, Diamond Social Club, and the Electronic Security Association. He served on the board of the SPCA and is a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Church. For over 20 years he was a drummer in several local bands and then enjoyed spending time with his sons racing RC Cars in multi-state competitions. Castellini has four children, Stephanie, Brian, Christopher and Andrew, losing his oldest son Brian suddenly on Jan 1, 2013. Married for over 30 years, he and his wife Kim (Sprague) reside in Vineland.
