| Info | Growing up in a Navy family, I traveled extensively before settling in Los Gatos. For me and my family, Los Gatos was home immediately upon arrival and I want to ensure the sense of community we felt then thrives for everyone now and in the future. I wish to incorporate my many years of public service at a national level into the work I am doing locally.I graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BS in environmental sciences, and then received a fellowship to Duke University, where I earned my master’s degree in environmental management with an emphasis on water and air resources. As part of my graduate studies, I spent a year as a Fellow at the H. John Heinz III Center for Science, Economics and the Environment in Washington, D. C. I began my career in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of International Affairs, after which I went into program management for the Natural Resources Defense Council.
