Adolph Olsson Eberhart was born June 23, 1870 in Sweden. His family emigrated from Sweden to the United States, and ultimately Minnesota. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College, and became a lawyer. He went on to become a Republican politician who served in the Minnesota Senate, as lieutenant governor, and as governor of the state of Minnesota from 1909 until 1915. Eberhart died in 1944.
GENERAL NOTES
He became Governor of Minnesota when John Albert Johnson died in office.
He ran and lost in the primary for the United States Senate in 1916.
