| Info | A life-long resident of Spokane, Karen Stratton graduated from Marycliff High School and received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Washington University.
Karen's professional background includes experience in state and local government, higher education and the private sector. She worked as a legislative aide in the Washington State House of Representatives for four legislative sessions. She was employed by Washington State University-Spokane for 10 years and spent four years at the Community Colleges of Spokane Training and Education Coordinating Center. In addition, she worked three years in the private sector spearheading community relations and philanthropic activities to local non-profit agencies.
Karen is married to Chris Wright and they have one son, currently attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. They have lived in the Audubon Park neighborhood for more than 22 years.
