Info | Janet (Folger) Porter is the President and Founder ofFaith2Action,the nation’s largest network of pro-family groups. F2A is pro-life, pro-family, and pro-active–to win the cultural war for life, liberty, and the family.
Janet initiated the nation’s first Heartbeat Bill (in Ohio, Feb. 2011) to legally protect unborn babies with detectible heartbeats. This effort inspired Arkansas and North Dakota to pass Heartbeat Laws–now the most protective pro-life laws in the nation. Heartbeat Bills are also pending in several other states.
Janet hosts a 60-second daily radio commentary which airs in 200 markets (including the American Family Radio and the Bott radio network), also available at: www.F2A.org. She is a frequent contributor to WorldNetDaily.

Before founding Faith2Action, Janet served from 1997-2002 as the National Director of the Center for Reclaiming America, founded by Dr. D. James Kennedy where she hosted Reclaiming America with Janet Folger, a 60-second commentary that aired daily on 550 radio and TV stations and received the National Religious Broadcasters’ “Genesis Award,” as well as the Excellence In Media “Silver Angel Award.“
Before that, Janet served as Legislative Director of Ohio Right to Life (1988-1997) where she successfully lobbied for passage of the nation’s first Partial-Birth Abortion Ban, which sparked the national debate in Congress and throughout the country. She also secured passage of the Woman’s Right to Know Law (Informed Consent & 24 hour waiting period), Parental Consent, Fetal Homicide, Clinic Regulations, Adoption Reform, Patient Protection from starvation & dehydration, and removed abortion funding.
Janet has authored five books including: The Criminalization of Christianity, True to Life, and What’s a Girl to Do While Waiting for Mr. Right? Janet has received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Christian Humanitarian Service from the South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary. She graduated with honors from Cleveland State University with a Masters Degree in Communication.
