Info | Kieron Testart was elected to the 18th Legislative Assembly as the Member representing the electoral district of Kam Lake. This is his first time serving as an elected official.
Mr. Testart was born on March 22, 1985 in Victoria, BC. He has also lived in Lethbridge, AB and Tuktoyaktuk, NT, and he currently resides in Yellowknife.
Prior to being elected, Mr. Testart worked as a Policy Analyst (2014-2015) and a Deputy Sheriff (2009-2014) with the Department of Justice, Government of the Northwest Territories.
Mr. Testart received a High School Diploma from École Sir John Franklin School and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Lethbridge.
Mr. Testart has also been a youth mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters Canada, a director for Canadian Parents for French, NWT Branch, a national director with the Liberal Party of Canada and a volunteer with Folk on the Rocks.
Mr. Testart’s interests include film, the performing arts, and tabletop games.
Mr. Testart is a single parent who lives with his son Corbin.
