| Info | Hello my name is Pat McCarthy I’m standing for the Green Party in the Wrekin and I’m hoping you’ll vote for me.
Why? Your vote will make a difference only if the party you choose can make that difference: You might be thinking: 1. Will that party prevent our NHS collapsing and fight to keep our A&E based at the Princess Royal? 2. Will they stop rent and mortgages rising to unaffordable levels that prevent young people moving away from their parents? 3. Will they stop sewage and toxic chemicals being dumped into our rivers? 4. Will they stop the cost of living nightmare. 5. Will they do anything about our climate chaos?
Candidates from the other parties say they are listening to your concerns but none are prepared to stand up to power and wealth to pay for the solutions. Only the Green Party has a plan to tax the billionaires and excess profits in order to make the changes that really will make a difference. Just a final thought for those considering voting tactically : Ralph Nader candidate in the 2000 US presidential election said “if you always vote for the lesser of two evils, you will always have evil, and you will always have less”.
So lets not vote for less, lets vote for a sustainable and better future.
