| Info | n accomplished lawyer with over 16 years of courtroom expertise, Jodi Wyman is a skilled mediator who has lived in the riding of Brandon-Souris since 1998. She is a compassionate and reliable individual who plans to use her wealth of experience to be a strong local voice and advocate for her community.
In 2000, Jodi was appointed as Chair of the Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunal by the federal government, where she spent six years using her extensive legal background hearing appeals from individuals who had been denied Pension Plan benefits. In 2006, she became a partner in her own law firm – Paterson, Patterson, Wyman & Abel.
An active member of her community, Jodi is the past president of her local YWCA and was honoured with the 2003 Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal for her volunteer work with the organization. She has spent time with the Board of Directors for the Brandon Chamber of Commerce, and is the current Chair for the Women's Resource Centre Board of Directors - a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services for women and their families in South Western Manitoba.
