| Info | Cyrille Giraud became a Montreal resident in 2003 after living and working in France and Italy. He has worked since 2000 in the financial sector, where he began as an auditor for stock exchange transactions, in particular with the “Caisse de dépôt et placements du Québec”.
He later worked as a consultant for cash flow management in Milan, and as an inspector for the “Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)”, being responsible for regulatory compliance. He has a special interest in issues related to ethics, deontology and transparency. Cyrille is also involved as an associate in the support of immigrant integration.
In 2013 he was a candidate for the “Projet Montréal” party in the municipal elections. He is very concerned with environmental issues, as such, he was named spokesperson for Quebec within the shadow cabinet of the Green Party of Canada, in 2014.
