InfoOscar Gutierrez believes that the financial solvency of California is one of the most important issues in State politics.

Oscar believes that the key to attaining financial solvency is to cut foolish spending programs from the State budget, while keeping taxes down. He also believes that the state should produce a surplus, which will build a solid foundation for future fiscal problems. Also a strong advocate of fiscal accountability, Mr. Gutierez wants to know what is happening to the taxes collected from gasolinetaxes that should be going to build and revitalize our aging transportation infrastructure.

He is a strong supporter of regulation of the States water supply, and believes that health insurance is a private sector issue that should be addressed by California businesses. To allow businesses to do this, he looks to nurture Californias business climate by reducing workers compensation costs and cutting taxes.

Oscar Gutierez is a Audio Engineer and Producer for 790 KABC. He has previously been selected as a People to People High School Student Ambassador in 1990, and has also worked in the recording industry. He enjoys the support of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, the California Republican National Hispanic Assembly, and Doug McIntyre of 790 KABC Talk Radio.
