Democratic candidate, Michael R. Macias (26), was born in Stockton, California and relocated with his family to the Fresno area, where he has resided for 18 years. Michael graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in Fresno in 1996 and has continued his educational growth at CSU Fresno. He is currently an undergraduate student at CSU Fresno where he is seeking his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology with a focus on Victimology. Immediately proceeding his graduation from Fresno State, Michael will seek admission into the law school of his choice where he will begin his pursuit of a Juris Doctor Degree.
Michael has worked various jobs, with the most recent being a Community Service Officer with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department. Though young, Michael believes he has the knowledge and ability to represent the residents of the 29th Assembly District in an effective and honorable manner.
