Carolyn Patrick is a senior biotechnology executive who owns a small biotech consulting firm. Trained in political science, she worked on professional staffs of U.S. Senate, Gubernatorial, and Presidential campaigns before entering the business world.
She has had an impressive career in business, serving as Vice President at Chiron and Bayer corporations and CEO of Epic Therapeutics, a privately held biotechnology company.
A 28 year resident of Sausalito, she is vitally interested in the welfare of the North Bay. She was elected to Marin GOP in 2002, is a delegate to the California Republican Party, and was Marin co-chair of the effort to elect Gov. Schwarzenegger.
Ms. Patrick is on the Board of San Rafael's Ritter Center and of the St. Francis Yacht Club Foundation, which funds and trains future Olympic sailors. As a volunteer for the World Federation of Hemophilia she conceived and implemented Operation Access, a global health initiative for hemophilia treatment.
