| Info | I was born to parents Edwin and Dolores Kimzey of Edwards, Illinois in 1951. I attended school in Illinois through grades 1-7, until settling in Pomona, California with my family. I attended Fremont Junior High School, then Garey High School, both in Pomona. In high school, I was a member of the drill team, the Yearbook Staff, Student Council, was a JV cheerleader, a Science Club member, Medical Careers Club member, member of Nordics, an honorary group, and was a member of CSF; I graduated with honors.
In 1969, I started nursing school at Merritt Hospital School of Nursing in Oakland, CA, graduating in 1972. After graduation, I worked in Coronary Care, Intensive Care, Surgical Intensive Care, Shift Nursing Supervisor, Employee Health Administrator, Utilization Review, and was a charge nurse in several nursing homes. I went back to school in 1982 and earned my bachelor's degree in Nursing Science while working full time.
I am married, have three daughters and one grandchild, as well as a rescued Yorkshire Terrier named Mitzi. I currently run my own business in its 7th year. I love to cook, and have privately published two recipe collections: [Link] Cookbook.html
