| Info | Rick Fuschi is a conservative political activist, involved with the Conservative Party of Canada in Windsor, Ontario.
Fuschi has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Windsor. He has been employed at what is now the Daimler Chrysler Corporation since 1969, and has operated a family metal-production business since 1978. He also served for two years in the Windsor Regiment reserve militia.
Fuschi ran as a candidate of the Canadian Alliance in a 2002 by-election in Windsor West. He finished third with 5,420 votes, about 8,500 votes behind New Democrat Brian Masse, the winner.
The Canadian Alliance merged with the Progressive Conservative Party in early 2004, and Fuschi joined the new party. He ran in Windsor—Tecumseh in the 2004 federal election, again placing finished third with 9,827 votes. It may be noted that neither the Canadian Alliance nor the Progressive Conservative Party had a strong historical support base in Windsor.
Fuschi has frequently criticized the Liberal Party as being anti-American.
