Affordable Housing Action!/�Acci�n para Viviendas Econ�micas!, in order to protect and create affordable rental housing and affordable homes for purchase by all families in Pasadena. In his work at the American Friends Service Committee, Philip is committed to bringing education justice to Pasadena and wants the City to spend millions, not thousands, on schools and schoolkids.
Philip volunteers his time in the community of Pasadena, including serving as a personal mentor to 15-20 children "apprentices" over the last 11 years. He serves on the board of Youth Outward Bound Adventures, which provides wilderness experience and environmental education for urban youth from Pasadena and Los Angeles. And he is the president of the Washington Schools Kids In Sports Club, which is committed to seeing every kid in sports be a graduate from college.
Philip has worked as a capital planner, project manager in a large corporation, government consultant, and small business owner. Philip is also a long time neighborhood activist, working to improve the lives of children in Pasadena and to make our City better for future generations.
