| Info | Daniel “Danny” Grant was born in 1958, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His family moved to Dade County, Georgia when Danny was 11 years old, and he graduated from Dade County High School. Then, he completed the IBEW Electrical Apprenticeship Program and has been a licensed electrician for 32 years. Currently, he holds electrical contractor licenses in Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Danny married Jena Roberts in 1983, and moved to Ringgold, Georgia in 1987. They had eight children who all have attended school in Catoosa County. Five of their eight children have attended Dalton State College. The Grant family has been active in local churches and in the community for the past 25 years.
As an electrician, Danny obtained his Certification as a Master Instructor/Trainer from the University of TN system, while teaching the apprenticeship program that he had originally attended.
This is a unique opportunity, to run in a new district, with twelve (12) Northwest Georgia counties. He wants to represent, bring jobs, and business opportunities to this district. Danny, a husband, father, grandfather and a construction worker who has worked in the private sector for 36 years, is a Georgia Democrat who believes in Georgia values and would be proud to represent the 14th district.
