Info | Elizabeth Badger is CEO/Founder of Minority Outreach Committee, Inc. a nonpartisan non-profit 501(c)(3) organization designed to encourage and facilitate political, economic and social development within and between the minority and majority Los Angeles communities. Elizabeth is also an owner/office manager for a small family-owned business.
Elizabeth is a woman of great faith. She attends West Angeles Church of God in Christ led by Bishop Charles Blake, for which she is a member of the choir ministry. Elizabeth is a life-long democrat; but strongly believes that inclusion and social charity is not the ownership of one particular political group. “We, being proprietors of God’s will; it is our responsibility to ignore political aisles or social boundaries, and treat ALL human beings as God intended with value and dignity”
Elizabeth volunteers with many organizations that help to foster the same tenants of her non-profit organization, including the NAACP and Save Africa’s Children, Inc. She volunteers with the local PTA and with her local chamber to help facilitate the yearly community Memorial Parade. Other affiliations include membership in local political clubs, 4 terms elected to LACDP, membership in CDP Executive Board, DSSC, and a delegate to the Historical 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado. Elizabeth has received a number of accommodations and letters of support; including being awarded Democrat of the Year 2011 from the LACDP.
Elizabeth is a graduate from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Political Science, with emphases on both International Relations and Comparative Government. She is a graduate of University of Southern California Los Angeles African-American Women Public Policy Institute.
Elizabeth is married with six children; three biological children and three step children. Her youngest, Lucas and Madison, are both in elementary school. Ami works in banking, and Heather in the real estate profession. Adam is an officer of the LAPD: he and her son Brett are both proud U.S. Marines, and have served two tours in Iraq.
