| Info | Timothy Horrigan was born in South Bend, Indiana on October 3, 1956 and grew up in Indiana and He was educated at the Northfield Mount Hermon School, the University of Southern California and (not too surprisingly, given the setting of this book) Columbia University. While at Columbia, he studied writing with David Shapiro and the late Kenneth Koch. In the 1970s and 1980s, some of his poems were published in various small magazines, but his fiction had to wait till the 21st century to be published. In 1995, while working for the Army Corps of Engineers, he co-authored (with with Roy E. Bates) a technical report entitled Estimated Snow Parameters for Vehicle Mobility Modeling in Korea, Germany and Interior Alaska. In 1996, he contributed an electronic-music piece to a CD entitled Frog Peak Collaboration. He currently lives in Durham, NH with his cat and his ex's cat, and he works for an educational testing firm. He has spent most of his career in the information technology field. In 1988 and 1989, he worked for Gov. Michael S. Dukakis, before and after his Presidential campaign.
